Imagawayaki is a confectionery made by pouring a dough made by dissolving flour, eggs and sugar in water into a circular mould approximately 7 cm in diameter and 2-3 cm high, then filling it with red bean paste or other ingredients and baking it.
Recently, it has become popular not only with azuki bean paste but also with custard cream and other ingredients.
